This song is about inner strength. About intuition. About overcoming the fear of being yourself. The time we live in promotes self-love and self-acceptance, but at the same time, it is very superficial and puts too much emphasis on the visual side of everything - including us, humans. But there is much more to each of us than the reflection in the mirror offers us and so much more than can be captured in photos. As Saint-Exupéry said, "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
I also wanted to capture that in the song, because this theme has been resonating with me for a long time.
